Sneak Peek: Kelsi + Jonathan | Hitched

In Lubbock, you have to learn to deal with the unexpected and frequent occurrences of random weather.  They can really make you a mess... especially the wind.  For those of you who live in this area this is quite normal.  While not always the most ideal thing, you learn to make the best of it. After all, in this part of the country only the tough survive (according to my sister).

This year just about every single day in November has been awesome.  Cool crisp mornings with kisses of dew on the newly planted fall and winter flowers.  Days the warm up to about 73 degrees with a puff of clouds here and there to break up the monotony of the bright blue sky.  Geese are flying in from the distance bringing a new noise that we will all become familiar with by January or so.

However on their wedding day, this was hardly the case. Thankfully we were shielded by a majority of the wind and sand blasting by the lovely Betenbough park.  It had rained a little the night before, which was very welcomed by everyone I'm sure, but the next day it made the ground squishy and muddy.  The pond was also a little higher than normal so one of the rocks that everyone had to walk across was no longer above water.  But everyone made the best of it, after all there was a very important wedding that was going to take place no matter what!!!

Aside from the "uncontrollable"everything went perfectly!  Not only that but you could really feel the depth of what this moment meant to this couple and their families. It was so special to capture this day for them! I'm not going to lie, I had to give myself a pep talk under my breath during the ceremony cause I nearly lost it too!

These two really did a fabulous job planning all the details to their wedding.  Here is a sneak peek!!

Congratulations Jonathan and Kelsi, you deserve it.
May God continue to guide you through your journey together as a family.

Kisses, hugs, and all of the above,

Jenna
